"Oh Wisconsin, Land of My Dreams"

"Oh Wisconsin, Land of My Dreams" was written in 1993 by Shari A. Sarazin. In 2001, Wisconsin Governor Scott McCallum and the State Legislature named this tune as Wisconsin’s official state ballad.
In the late 1920’s a farmgirl from Juneau County (WI), Erma Howland Barrett, took out her journal, and wrote a beautiful poem about Wisconsin. Her granddaughter, Shari Sarazin, took those heartfelt words and wrote this lovely tune.
